While the New Testament is most explicit on the subject of a future bodily resurrection (e.g. 1 Corinthians 15), the Old Testament really lays the groundwork for the New Testament’s teaching.
Zephaniah teaches us that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose. If you can make it past the opening threats, there is much comfort to be found.
